What makes Modern Motherhood so unique?

Not only are we the most educated group of mothers that has ever existed, we are a group of mothers who are experiencing an unprecedented level of maternal pressure. Not only are we are without our “villages” we are the first generation of mother’s whose entire experience is documented through social media. And depending on one’s own version of feminism, we are often victims of the absurdity of “having it all culture.” Modern motherhood is a blood sport.
